Media Lesson 26th February
Today we edited our thriller opening. We finished importing all of our selected scene from the footage we recorded and then begun to place them on the timeline sorting the timing. We also got onto editing some of the scene e.g. removing sound from clips then adding other sound from other clips over the other clip also changing the colour of the clip to black and white to give the effect of the clip being old.
Media Questionnaire
We have finished our rough edit of our thriller opening. We are going to ask people to view this and ask their opnion on what they thought by asking them to fill out our questionnaire as shown below.

We have asked precise questions so we can get certain answers that can be important to making our thriller opening a success and so we are able to make the ammendments to make the opening better.

My input to the thriller opening
The brain storm including initial ideas was a group effort between myself, Toni and Jonny.
My input: I put together the brief synopsis of the plot, this was a description of what the plot would be for our thriller opening. The planning edit includes the shots we will have and the transition effects between each of the shots. I also listed a number of transitions we could include in the opening on the basis that they were appropriate and effective. Effects have also been listed. I have evaluated a few songs/sounds for our soundtrack all of which are unsigned and have not been coyrighted. The equipment we will be using throughout the production I have listed and the brand name of each item. On each of the documents throughout this project I have included my own view on what we have done with a description and why we have done it.

Ideas for locations
Filming Schedule
Week one -
Monday start filming at 12:45 till about 2:15 this is becuase David who plays Ryan and Chloe who plays Jodie has some private study to do. We will film the first scenes which Ryan appears in as it is the hardest scene to film.
Wednesday we will shoot the scene where Jodie and Chantelle are in the toilets together. This will be filmed at 3:30 till 4:30. This is providing on the weather and that the characters can make it.
This is all we are able to film on week one as there is a sociology exam the friday. Which two of our four characters are taking.
Week two -
We want to film the same times and day as before. As we want to repeat what we have done a few times. This gives us enough footage to edit down to enough time for our opening thriller sequence.
We are on a very tight schedule as there are exams which our crew are in, this limits our time as people need to revise.
